Affordable housing becomes a key issue when a large sector of the population is not able to buy houses at the market price. We are one of many organizations working to help increase the availability of housing units to those whose income is below the median household income.

Our focus is to collaborate with state and local municipalities, nonprofit housing organizations, businesses, and many others in this effort. This initiative will especially work to increase the availability of affordable housing where there has been a long expressed community need.

In addition and where applicable, the development of affordable housing by HI LLC will include sustainable initiatives, efficient design, community gardening, and housing that allows for alternative transportation including bus transport, biking and walking opportunities.
