HI LLC prepares 'Sketch Plan' submission concept
November 10, 2021 HI LLC:
After years of work, we have completed much progress on the development plans for Severance Park. Today we submitted plans to the Town of Colchester for a revised concept "Sketch" to be presented to the Colchester Development Review Board (stay tuned!.... )
Equity Matters for a Sustainable Design outcome
Socio-Economics is the social science related to how economic activity affects and shapes local processes. We believe it is highly important to include a resilient approach, adapt our views on how we approach housing development so that we can increase the availability of affordable housing opportunities. We include a sustainable initiative to support the development, conservation, and enhancement of our lands and natural resource areas
Severance Park - Proposed Recreational Amenities
The development plans include a sustainable focus with a 14-acre central park amenity, pedestrian walks, bike paths, trails, pickleball, basketball, scenic areas, community gardens, a dog run, multiple playground areas wellness/exercise stations and more.... In addition the project proposes a planned overlook to the natural area, park benches, viewing areas, and additional passive recreational amenities.
HI LLC Advances Plans, Prepares for next DRB Submission
Our development team has been working hard to prepare our next DRB submission to the Town of Colchester for their review, comments, and recommendations as we continue our efforts in development of senior housing, office use, and several multi-family building and townhouse units, daycare, passive and active recreational uses and scenic areas for this 63 acre development. Stay tuned for more news on our strong efforts for the development of hundreds of needed AFFORDABLE housing units in Chittenden County!

Development Review Board Hearing: December 8, 2021
December 8, 2021 at 7pm: The Town of Colchester Development Review Board will review our submission for "Severance Park" including a mixed-use Planned Unit Development on a 63 acres. Project includes a strong focus on Affordable housing, Senior housing, Workfoce housing, Office, and other mixed use with an attractive central park component for its residents and visitors. Focus includes equity, enviornment, & community.
